All things hip Exposed-brick walls, retro furniture and vibrant textiles – Hester Park is thoroughly cool. Climbing the stairs to the fourth floor, you enter into a hallway where the master bedroom is immediately on the right. This white-painted room is an understated space, with a wooden queen-size bed (which has a distressed wood headboard) and a neat ensuite bathroom. It neighbours this home’s second – similarly smart – bathroom. Finally, you’ll come to the open-plan living area. At the near end there’s a kitchen, which has one exposed-brick wall, gleaming grey cabinets and a matching breakfast bar. Just opposite, beside a brimming bookshelf, there’s a dining table set with four Eames chairs, and next to that is a sitting area. Atop its rag rug stand a sofa and a boldly draped armchair, plus many stylish side tables, all lined with pot plants and intriguing objets.
