Step up Bright colors and tribal prints elevate this fifth-floor home. Huge windows along most walls brighten the open-plan kitchen and living area, as do plenty of patterned rugs and a cool red light fixture in the wood-clad kitchen. You can dine at the breakfast bar atop tall bar stools, or out on the patio at the al fresco dining set. This home's coolest feature might be the contemporary staircase, which leads from the sitting room to the upper floor. It has a metal bannister and wooden steps, and at its summit is one of this home's two bedrooms, with a gallery window looking back down into the living space. The master bedroom is equally interesting to behold, with a tribal artwork above the bed and a pretty rug beneath it.
