Extremely pleasant villa totally oriented towards the pool and the garden, with rooms on one level which open fully on to the outdoors: an intimate, radiant place, with a resolutely contemporary look & feel, which brings out the best in the noble materials: wood, glass and steel. The interior design is joyful, refined with very high quality furnishings for a relaxed yet very comfortable lifestyle. It’s the perfect place for a stress-free vacation between the bay and the ocean, a few minutes away from the lighthouse and the beaches in the south of the peninsula.
The living area is a vast open space with exposed beams, made up of a living room, dining room and a very modern and beautifully equipped open-plan kitchen. The area opens onto to a 250 sq. m terrace and the salt-water pool, with garden furniture and a big table that allow you to take full advantage of the bracing sea air and warm fragrance of the pinewood.
The villa has four bedrooms:
• Master suite, king-size bed, large bathroom with bathtub, shower and toilets; access to the terrace
• Double bedroom, queen-size bed, ensuite shower room (shower and toilets); access to the terrace
• Two double bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and a mezzanine with two (90) mattresses (not suitable for very young children).
The second bedroom can be accessed from outside or by crossing the first one.
• The two bedrooms have a shared shower room with a shower and toilets.
There is a parking lot for 3 cars on the property.
The villa can be rented with an extra independent cottage that can sleep from 2 to 4 people.
Household linen, kitchen and bath towels are provided. The beds will be made up just before your arrival. You’ll also have some surprises in store to welcome you: you’ll find toiletries in the bathrooms and a little gourmet gift basket in the kitchen. Additional services are available on demand upon reservation.
The villa is located in the village of Cap Ferret, 10 minutes on foot to the south of the Cape’s lighthouse and halfway between the bay and the ocean.
Cross the dunes and you’ll find yourself face-to-face with the immense beaches of the Atlantic. On the other side, you’ll find the fishermen’s village that has preserved all of its charm and authenticity.
At the end of the village, these are several tasting bars, where oyster and white wine aficionados love to sit for a while facing the water, and the "Mimbeau", a long sandbank that closes off the bay. You’ll also find the oyster-grower and fishmonger Boulan, probably the most famous one on the peninsula! A peaceful place for a swim or a quiet walk.
A little further on there’s the lighthouse beach, facing the renowned “Dune du Pilat”.
You can swim, no matter what the tide, and at low tide, children will delight in the little natural “paddling pools” where they can jump around and have fun in complete safety. In the summer season, there’s a small shack where you can rent stand-up paddles to navigate around the bay and stock up on ice-cream and cold drinks.
The Cap Ferret Yacht Club is based close by and offers sailing courses and lessons.
