Live a life of luxury during your VIP stay in this outstanding chateau between Aix-en-Provence and the Luberon region. Enjoy breakfast in the orange grove facing the French-style gardens, or in the lower courtyard as you listen to the song of the cicadas and the gentle murmur of the fountain.
Savor the charm and the splendor of yesteryear in an authentic and protected Provence.
The former estate of the counts of Provence in the 16th century, residence of the region’s most illustrious families who have passed it on from one generation to the next, this unique property has, in fact, retained all of its nobility but also its activity, as it is one of the largest vineyards and agricultural domains on the Aix-en-Provence hillsides.
The chateau itself has been beautifully restored and renovated to welcome its guests with the very best in the way of luxury and comfort. It’s surrounded by a 22-hectare landscaped park, a magical place where everyone is free to do what they want with their leisure time, whether it’s relaxing around the swimming pool, biking, tennis, or even learning about wines and the art of wine-growing. A hammam and spa bath are also available.
Each of the 11 bedrooms is designed as an individualized apartment, with its own unique and refined decor linked to its name. Each includes an ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning, a minibar and a Nespresso machine, satellite TV, an IPhone dock and free Internet access. The beds are all either queen-size or king-size.
The shared areas are comprised of two reception rooms, a TV room, a dining room and a professionally equipped kitchen with a dining area: the dream of every cordon-bleu cook!
You’ll have a butler at your disposal throughout your stay, which also includes house-cleaning services. You’ll find a gourmet gift basket in the kitchen, as well as toiletries and a hair-dryer in the bathrooms. Many other services are also available on demand when you reserve, such as a personal chef or wine tasting workshops
Nestled among the vineyards, the property is located 2 km from the village of Rognes (renowned for its wine, truffles and stone), facing the Luberon region, and 18 km from Aix-en-Provence. There are many opportunities for leisure activities in and around the estate: walks and bike rides, visits to wine cellars and tastings, tennis, horseback riding, golf (4 golf courses less than 20 km away), canoeing on the Durance River.
The region is blessed with an abundance of natural and cultural resources, beginning with the charming little villages of the Luberon and the celebrated city of Aix-en-Provence.
The TGV high-speed train station is 20 minutes from the estate, and the Marseille-Marignane airport only 30 minutes away.
