Many objects come from secondhand and antique shops in the neighboring area, making the site even more authentic. The chalet has all modern conveniences however, with flat-screen TVs in each bedroom and high-quality amenities. The chalet is located along the road that leads to the Chamois ski slopes (the telecabin is only 900 meters away), between the Rotschild ascent and the Calvary path. And it’s only 500 meters from the center of Megeve, so it’s easy to get to the shops and restaurants on foot. The free ski bus is only a few meters away from the house. The chalet is built on three levels, with the main room on the top floor: Ground floor: •Entrance where you can store your ski equipment Second floor: •Ensuite double bedroom, queen-size bed, bathroom with bathtub and toilets •Ensuite double bedroom, king-size bed, shower room with shower •Double bedroom, two 90 cm twin beds •Double bedroom, queen-size bed •Large shower room with a Jacuzzi, Italian-style shower and twin sinks •Separate toilets •Laundry room Third floor: •Spacious living area with living room/wood-burning fireplace, dining room and beautifully-equipped open-plan kitchen opening on to a large balcony •Master suite, bathroom with bathtub and toilets Linens, sheets, and towels are provided. The beds will be freshly made on arrival. You will find toiletries in the bathrooms and a gourmet food basket in the kitchen. What's included in this fully-catered stay ? - Breakfast prepared in the chalet every morning: Hot breakfast (for six mornings on seven) served in the dining room accompanied by a selection of local yoghurts, muesli, cereals, and fresh crusty bread and jams (7d/7). - Afternoon tea / After-ski: Buffet available of tea, coffee, fresh bread, jams, and delicious home-baked cakes or opt for something savoury if that is your preference. - Champagne and aperitives before dinner - Dinner six nights on seven: After canapés, a three-course dinner will be served, followed by a locally-inspired cheeseboard. Dinner is accompanied by the finest selection of European house wines. - Ski equipment delivery - Ski-lift pass delivery (passes have to be paid before by client) - Daily housekeeping - House wines with dinner, beers and soft drinks Children, dietary requirements, and any other specific requests will be discussed prior to your arrival. And even during your stay, the chef will be willing to adapt the menu plan to accommodate your wishes. We pride ourselves on our high standards of food and considered selection of house wines. DRIVER SERVICE Our staff can provide an in-resort driver or an airport transfer from Geneva or Zurich on request. STAFF DAY OFF On the staff day off, fresh bread and croissants are delivered and a continental breakfast and afternoon tea is pre-prepared. Wednesday is typically our staff day off. However, we will offer you advice on resort restaurants and will gladly make a reservation for your group to ensure there is a continuity of fine service. We also offer special services just for your ski holiday: pre-reserved ski lift passes, ski equipment delivery directly to your home, a dedicated ski instructor, and anything else to make your stay a little cosier.
The chalet has the advantage of being in a perfect location, very close to the center of town but a bit apart from it, in a magnificent natural environment with an unobstructed view of the resort and the mountains around it. You can park up to three cars in front of the chalet. You’re on the road that goes directly to the Mont d’Arbois ski slopes; you can get there in five minutes by taking the ski bus that stops a few meters away from the chalet.
Walkers and hikers will appreciate the trail along the Calvary path that leads to the Mont d’Arbois. As for golfers, they can delight in a round of two at the Arbois golf course less than two km away from the chalet.
Megeve is a village typical of the Haute-Savoie region that is sure to enchant you.
