The sun, the Mediterranean, and you! Nothing intrudes between this splendid villa and the coast: you’re in the front line, right on the waterfront, since it has direct access to the sea. The Gaou Bay is situated to the south of port of Bormes-les-Mimosas (2 km). It can only be reached by a coast path so that relatively few people go there. It has both sand and pebble beaches, as well as secret little coves separated by rocks.
This contemporary-design villa, built entirely of Bormes dry stone, fits like a T into the landscape. Situated in 1,000 sq. m of tree-lined grounds, it’s laid out wholly on one level, with all the rooms opening onto terraces with a sea view. The enormous bay windows allow you to make the most of the spectacular panorama. The 12x5 swimming pool (salt water, of course) is a veritable and totally private extension of the Med’s deep blue sea!
Soberly furnished, the villa, which runs lengthwise, is made up of a living area and a ‘night’ area connected by a hallway:
• Living area with living room and dining room
• Well equipped kitchen opening onto the living area
• Laundry room
• Bedroom 1: 140 cm bed
• Bedroom 2: 140 cm bed
• Bedroom 3: 1 set of bunk beds and one 90 cm bed
• Shower room (shower) shared by the 3 bedrooms
• Bedroom 4: master bedroom, 140 cm bed, ensuite bathroom (bathtub, shower and toilets)
Household linen, kitchen and bath towels are provided. The beds will be made up just before you arrive. You’ll also have some surprises in store to welcome you: you’ll find toiletries in the bathrooms and a little gourmet gift basket in the kitchen. Other services are also available on demand when you reserve.
At the heart of the Var on the Cote d’Azur, facing the golden islands and at the foot of the Maures Massif, Bormes les Mimosas boasts extraordinary flora, thanks to an optimal climate and plenty of sunshine, plants and flowers grow in abundance.
Said to be one of the most beautiful sites in the Var, the medieval village of Bormes-les-Mimosas is not to be missed by those who love old stone and are passionate about history. One of the charms of Bormes les Mimosas is its coastal area and the sense of wildness it exudes. Creeks and beaches with fine sand stretch for more than 22km, facing the golden islands, from Levant and Port Cros to the fort of Brégançon.
