You’ll have trouble finding a more central or more prestigious location in Nice. The apartment is situated on the magnificent Place Massena, in the very heart of the Cote d’Azur, right there where the famous Carnival takes place. Sip a cocktail on your second floor balcony and watch the continuous play of street artists, tourists and passer-byes as they parade in front of you. As the square is largely pedestrian-friendly, it is in fact very quiet. You’ll also have a great view of the Albert 1er gardens, a real oasis of calm and tranquility in the city. The renowned Promenade des Anglais and the beaches are but a 2 minute-walk away, as well as the old town of Nice.
The apartment, entirely air-conditioned, is elegantly decorated in an Art Deco spirit marked by the colors of the south. Extremely spacious, it has three ensuite bedrooms so that each guest can feel entirely at home. Lay-out:
• Large living area with a living room and dining room, TV
• Ultra-modern and luxuriously equipped kitchen with a central island
• Double bedroom, king-size bed, bathroom, toilets
• Double bedroom, king-size bed, shower room (Italian-style shower), toilets
• Double bedroom, two 90 cm beds, shower room (Italian-style shower), toilets

The Place Massena is the heart of the city of Nice. It’s huge and bordered by luxury 19th century buildings, with facades in the famous Pompeian red color and white arcades. Now pedestrian-oriented (excluding buses and tramways), it’s become major rallying point for Nice’s residents. From the south side, you’ll have access to the old town, an interlace of small narrow streets lined with boutiques, restaurants and cafes. You’d think you were in Italy! Just two minutes away, you’ll find the Promenade des Anglais, with its pebble beaches, that runs along the bay. On the west side of the square, there’s a huge pedestrian zone, a real paradise for shoppers. On the north side, you’ll find the Avenue Jean Medecin, also a busy shopping street that leads to the train station. In other words, you’ll have everything you need on tap and your car will only come in handy when you head off to explore the rest of the Riviera. For those who are not motorized, there’s a bus that will take you to the airport or to the station in 10 minutes. And you can also rent bikes on site.
