Imagine: as the sun sets over the Bay, let your children paddle around on the water’s edge as you quietly settle down around the table on your terrace to admire the sailing ships returning from the “lle aux Oiseaux”, and savor some freshly harvested oysters and a glass of local white wine. In the morning, at dawn, you can go jogging along the beach then plunge into the waves before coming back for a family-style breakfast…

At Cap Ferret, people get around mainly by bicycle. You can park your car at the back of the house, in the parking lot of the oyster bar.
Household linen, kitchen and bath towels are provided. The beds will be made up just before you arrive. You’ll also have some surprises in store to welcome you: you’ll find toiletries in the bathrooms and a little gourmet gift basket in the kitchen. Other services are also available on demand when you reserve.
The villa is located at Lège Cap-Ferret, close to the little fishing village of Jaquets-Petit Piquey where you’ll find a very lively shopping district with numerous boutiques and restaurants. The beaches are particularly well guarded and very safe for children, and look out over the Bay and the “Ile aux Oiseaux”.
There are several oyster shacks nearby including the one where they shot the highly successful French film “Les Petits Mouchoirs”.
There’s a little dune covered with a pine forest just behind the house, and a great place to take long walks. The ocean beaches are ten minutes away by car.
And don’t forget to rent a bike: here, it’s the key means of transport to get from one village to another!
