Here’s a lovely stopping place for an extremely comfortable stay on the Amalfi coast.
The apartment is situated in a handsome old building in a picturesque neighborhood of Positano, halfway between the cliff road and the beach, and has a fabulous sweeping view of the sea. It’s easy to walk to the beach or to the shopping streets in the lower part of the town by taking the pedestrian shortcuts – around fifty steps or so. You’ll find numerous restaurants and shops there. You can take the bus to go back up. There’s a bus stop just a few meters from the apartment.
The veranda and large terrace are perfect outdoor areas to have lunch, relax, sunbathe and enjoy the view. High ceilings and elegant archways enlarge the indoor space and its spacious, luminous rooms.
The decor is modern and judiciously designed, with high-class amenities. The three bedrooms are air-conditioned and have their own private ensuite bathrooms:
• 30 sq. m terrace
• 20 sq. m veranda with lounge
• Living room with lounge and dining area, sea view
• Perfectly equipped kitchen
• Bedroom 1: queen size bed, sea view, access to the terrace, ensuite shower room - shower and toilets
• Bedroom 2: queen size bed, sea view, access to the terrace, ensuite shower room - shower and toilets
• Bedroom 3: 80 twin beds that can be joined, sea view, ensuite shower room - shower and toilets
• Laundry room
There is a paid parking nearby the house, that you will get a discount on.
Linens, sheets, and towels are provided. The beds will be freshly made on arrival. You will find toiletries in the bathrooms and a gourmet food basket in the kitchen. Optional services are available upon request at reservation.
The apartment is in an 18th century building, located in one of the oldest and most typical neighborhoods in town, with its narrow, flower-lined alleys. There are numerous stairways that lead from the upper to the lower part of town, but you can always take the shuttle bus to head back up.
Legend has it that Poseidon, the Greek god of the Sea, founded Positano because of his love for the nymph Pasitea… This charming village, perched on a cliff, with its colorful houses and Saracen towers, is probably one of the most romantic vacation destinations in Italy. Discover the pebble beach of Fornillo, tucked away in the rocky coastline and bathed by the turquoise waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea, a 20-minute walk from the house, but also accessible by bus, about 1 kilometer away. Naples, Amalfi, Sorrento, Pompeii, Ravello…you’ll simply have to come back to visit everything there is to see! The Naples airport is 60 km from the house.
