Description

This is the perfect location to explore Bordeaux on foot. The apartment is right in the historical centre, in the Saint Pierre neighbourhood, and 3 minutes from Port Cailhau, the Royal Gate at the entrance to the city. With its picturesque streets, it is full of lovely spots to have a glass of wine, and try the famous southwestern cuisine.

The apartment is on the first floor of a beautiful, renovated old building, on a quiet street. It is directly accessible from the exterior staircase in the courtyard. The apartment's decor is faithful to its sense of place, suffused with a classical elegance, but redone with a modern style. The apartment, overlooking the street and the courtyard, was refitted as a duplex – the lower floor is a beautiful living space with living room and kitchen, while the upper floor is reserved for the bedrooms.

The Saint-Pierre neighbourhood is one of Bordeaux’ historical neighbourhoods, with pedestrianised streets filled with wine bars, restaurants, and shops – this is Bordeaux at its most animated, lively, and young. The famous Place de la Bourse is only a ten-minute walk away, as well as the Garonne riverside where you must take a stroll on a sunny day.

You can get to the Pont de Pierre, the Tour de Pey-Berland or to the National Opera in less than 10 minutes.

There is a bakery and small shops on the corner of the road. Bordeaux has rich historical and cultural heritage yet is also a modern city with international standing. It is also the perfect place to explore the Aquitaine area, and its vineyards and ocean beaches. The Bordeaux train station is a 10-minute drive and the Bordeaux-Merignac airport is 12 km away.
