The art of living in Provence is the smell of lavender that drifts through the garden, the song of the cicadas in the olive trees, a shaded terrace where you can share a glass of sangria, the sun that beats down against the facades at siesta time… A stay in this beautifully and lovingly renovated 19th century Provencal country house, nestled in a 1,000 sq. m. garden fragrant with Mediterranean plants and herbs, will allow you to fully appreciate the easygoing, peaceful way of life in the south of France.
At the back of an alley lined with lavender and Florentine plants, you’ll get a taste of what true happiness is like, where luxury springs from beauty and authenticity, where privacy is gifted by nature, and where joy is born from moments that are shared.
The outdoor spaces have been designed so that areas where friends can gather are interspersed with little nooks where you can be alone. The large courtyard and the “Moroccan” living room clearly belong to the first category, as they are both great places to get together for a meal or an aperitif. The 11x4 saltwater swimming pool is also a wonderful meeting point for all the generations who can come to cool off in the heat of the day.
The inside of the house is a model of interior design, combining the comfort of plush furniture, the modernity of high-end facilities and the coziness of a “country chic” style embellished with family photos and carefully chosen objects. The house is entirely air-conditioned and has five ensuite bedrooms.
You’ll trouble wrenching yourself away from this little paradise to go tour the charming villages of the Alpilles Mountains and the Luberon, but they are well worth a visit and right nearby. The famous village of Isle-sur-Sorgue is only a 10-minute drive away.

It is 5km from l’Isle-sur-Sorgues, also known as the Venice of Comtadine, one of Luberon's prettiest towns with a charming lifestyle. Canals and winding streets give it character. It is also internationally known thanks to the Foire Internationale Antiquités et Brocantes, an international antique and second-hand market, held twice a year at Easter and in August. The antique shops, interesting boutiques, galleries, and arts centre are open year round, creating a place of unequalled glamour and charm in the region.
There is a farmer’s market every Thursday morning, and a Provencal market every Sunday morning.
During your visit, check out all the themed guided tours organised by the Island’s tourism office. They are updated constantly and vary from historical, by bike, archaeological, poetic – covering many themes that will please the young and old alike!
