This house, with its traditional Moroccan architecture, is a modern version of a palace from the One thousand and one nights. It welcomes you into an enchanting world, into a haven of peace and serenity. Located eighteen kilometres away from the capital, it offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the Atlas Mountains.
Let yourself slip into a surprising environment, combining oriental charm and sophistication, and western design and comfort.
Topped by a dome, the entrance gives onto the dining room on one side, and the sitting room on the other side. Huge curved bay windows open up these adjoining rooms on the garden, where you will appreciate the sweet smell of bougainvillea and orange trees. A summer sitting room in the archway gallery, a second living room, and an outdoors dining room add up to these luxurious rooms, which are perfect for conviviality and relaxation.
The 6 large en-suite bedrooms are all on the ground floor and open up on the exterior; 4 of them give onto the ochre-red patio. They are all equipped with breath-taking bathrooms where traditional zelliges are mixed with top of the range amenities: bathtubs or double walk-in showers. Each guest can hence benefit from a very private and independent space.
The spacious Master bedroom is particularly impressive thanks to its sitting area equipped with an ornamental chimney (not in use), its huge walk-in closet, and its gorgeous black Tadelakt bathroom.
Two exceptional little houses add up to these 6 bedrooms. These houses were conceived by the owner and copy caidal tents: concrete walls, and a canvas roof, lined with iridescent fabric that gives a magical light and atmosphere. These two tents are equipped with single beds and bunk beds, and can sleep up to 7 people. They have shower rooms with showers and toilets.
Two kitchens are at your disposal: the indoors kitchen where you will be able to taste the delicious Moroccan cuisine thanks to four large tagines and cooking pot, and the outdoors kitchen, by the pool. Fully equipped, it has a pizza oven and a barbecue. You will be able to have your meals in the shade. You can also choose to have a house cook prepare delicious local meals for you. Olive trees that provide homemade olive oil surround the estate.
To make the most of the cool starry nights, you will particularly enjoy the terrace on the roof and its comfortable sitting area.
The pool also has paddling pool. You can use the clay tennis court and the Ping-Pong table whenever you want.
The bed linens and bath towels are provided. The beds are made shortly before your arrival.
We also have a few welcome attentions in store: you will find toiletries in the bathrooms and a welcome basket with a selection of teas and coffees in the kitchen…
You will be 18 kilometres away from Marrakesh, the Pearl of the South, in a small village, bearing the name of Tamesloht. At first sight, Tamesloht doesn’t catch the eye: a lovely little town in the surroundings of Marrakesh like many others, or almost, where you will find many shops.
Still called “village” in spite of its 17,000 inhabitants, Tamelsoht is the home of unparalleled craftsmen who keep transmitting their ancestral know-how from one generation to the next. This village is part of the history of Morocco. When strolling along the street, you can discover architectural treasures, sumptuous Marabouts, a stunning Zawiya, and the remains of an irrigation system ahead of its time. Craftsmanship is very present with, among others, the potters and the weavers. Tamesloht shows the various aspects of the Arab culture, Bereber, Saharan, and African, which make up the present-day Morocco. This village has all the assets to become a place for leisure and cultural tourism: - Leisure thanks to its piedmont plain side, it can become the starting point for hikes in the Atlas. – Cultural, Tamesloht has all the commodities to become a holiday and Heritage tourism destination thanks to all its cultural wealth.
The villa is also located 8 kilometres away from the Selman golf course.
