Found in a little alleyway very close to the famous Pere Lachaise cemetery that hides this superb house, originally a fur trader's workshop.
Crossing the entryway, you are transported to another time. Like Proust's madeleine, the charm hits you immediately; antique furniture, boutique objects from every corner of the globe, original tiling; they all take you back to the start of the last century, to the ambience of a country residence.
Entering the vast living room, the large windows bathe the red velour couches in a soft light. The room opens onto a small paved and blossoming garden down its whole length, a genuine haven of peace and greenery, where a table, chairs, bench and hammock offer delicious moments of leisure and daydreams.
At the end of the living room, we find the kitchen a few steps away, under an incredible window. A real kitchen from another era, with a chimney, table, benches, and magnificent panelling, yet the kitchen appliances bring all the modern comforts!
At the other end of the living room, a small corridor leads to two guest bedrooms with a double bed and adjoined bathroom in the first one, and a single bed in the other.
The three other bedrooms are on the first floor, all equipped with a double bed. Very light, their more contemporary style and the simple décor create an intimate and serene ambience. One has an en-suite bathroom, inspired by oriental style.
The largest room, also fitted out with a bathroom with a bath, looks out onto a vast patio, where vines and climbing plants create an operatic Italian décor.
Accessible from the ground floor by an external staircase, it is the perfect space to spend evenings with friends before the beautiful days to come.
