Cozy up on the poolside daybed, swim up to the edge of the infinity lap pool or watch the sun go down over the hills as you take a soak in the sunken hot tub. Our favorite feature of this home is the master bath and bedroom suite - connected with one another by slide-away double barn-style doors, the room is furnished with a tempurpedic king bed, while the bathroom boasts a Japanese-style copper bathtub and a limestone shower that opens to the outside. Exterior construction includes privacy walls to render this space completely private yet open to the valley below, with 50 mile views on a clear day. With such a variety of spaces, there is no wrong way for your group to gather, unwind and experience the day’s changing scenery together.

Each of the three bedrooms at Hawks Beard enjoys incredible views and direct access to the deck and crushed stone walkway leading to the pool and a year-round running creek. The second guest bedroom has a Tempurpedic queen, walk-in closet and raised ceiling with skylight, while the third guest bedroom has two extra-long twin bed that can be configured into a king. The outdoor entertainment areas are impressive to say the least: think afternoons spent sauteing and grilling in your alfresco kitchen, a sundown glass of wine around the lighted Bocce ball court and cool evenings around the heat of the gas fire pit.
Only 4.5 miles west of Sonoma Square, Hawks Beard enjoys the perfect setting to experience the best of Wine Country while still feeling far removed from the ordinary bustle of town. Ringed by boutiques, galleries, historic sites, and eateries that range from intimate cafes to four-star restaurants, the Sonoma Square is a hub for visitors and locals alike. Surrounded by vineyards, farms and groves of olive and fruit trees, there is no better place to put the top down on the car, cruise the open country roads and sample organic delights from the numerous roadside food stands. Of course, a trip to Sonoma wouldn’t be complete without a stop or two at the nearby wineries for a private tour and tasting of the lush reds and crisp whites that this region is so famous for.
