The property, a contemporary-style pied-a-terre, is discreetly set right in the center of Nyon, a few minutes away from banks of Lake Geneva. It’s an architect-designed house, which with its open and modern facade and large plate-glass windows really catches the eye. The house’s layout is definitely out of the ordinary, and was designed for two people to live in and enjoy high-class comfort: after the entrance, there’s a stairway that leads up to a large luminous living area that serves as both a living and dining room, and a fully equipped state-of-the-art open-plan kitchen. The upper level was devised for several activities: study, TV viewing, reading and even fitness with its treadmill. The top floor houses a spacious double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The bathtub faces a large bay window that opens on to a lovely sunny terrace with a view of the rooftops. Layout:

Like all the towns located on the banks of Lake Geneva, Nyon is known for its quality of life and pleasant climate. The house is an ideal pied-a-terre right in the town-center. It’s just a short walk away from lakeshore, and you can get just about everything you need on foot. The neighborhood is alive with shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants. It’s easy to blend into the peaceful, easy-going atmosphere of Nyon, which regularly livens up thanks to the many festivals that take place there throughout the year (Paleo Festival, Hivernales, Visions du Reel, and more). While you’re onsite, don’t miss a visit to the château of Nyon and its history museum, as well as the museum of Leman, where you’ll come across the familiar faces of Tintin and Professeur Tournesol. Discover the area’s beautiful country landscapes, interspersed with AOC La Cote vineyards, between Lake Geneva and the hillsides leading up to the Jura Mountains. Geneva, a must, is only a 30min drive away from Nyon. Travel along the lakeside, and you’ll get to Lausanne in 40min, then set off to tour the famous Swiss Riviera: Vevey, Montreux (1h), and the other small towns and villages along the way.
