This chalet overlooking the Heremence valley has a beautiful view of the Valais mountains in the Swiss Alps. A former fully renovated farm, the property was designed and arranged so that it retains all the charm of genuine Swiss chalet. There’s wood everywhere you look, starting with the roomy living area, a beautiful open space comprising a kitchen, dining room and living room. A great place to get together, either around the wood-burning stove or on the balcony to enjoy the panorama. The bedrooms are divided between the different levels of the chalet, the children’s bedrooms on the garden level (with a separate shower room), the master suite on the ground floor, and the double bedrooms on the upper floor (with a separate bathroom). The chalet is located in Heremence, a delightful village perched on the mountainside more than 1200m above sea level. It’s in Canton of Valais, in the heart of the Alps: the mountains here are simply magnificent! The activities in Heremence vary widely according to the season. In the winter, skiing and other snow sports take precedence, and from the village it’s easy to access the superb 4 Vallées ski domain. Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice- skating, there’s something for just about everyone. In the summer, the mountains offer a wide range of nature-oriented activities, first among them hiking. And don’t miss out on a visit to the imposing Grande-Dixence dam at the bottom of the valley.
