The garden is closed with a stone wall, and is a real joy with its 10x5m heated salt-water pool, and the large shaded terrace to enjoy yourself around a good grill.

The cherry on the cake is the two-minute walk to the beach, via a small alleyway that crosses a dune. An outdoor shower gets rid of the sand before you jump in the pool. And to finish the day, how about a game of boules on the bowling green! In the evening, turn on the remote-controlled lights by the pool and enjoy the gentle Ile-de-Re evening in the comfortable outdoor living room.
Linens, sheets, and towels are provided. The beds will be freshly made on arrival. You will find toiletries in the bathrooms and a gourmet food basket in the kitchen. Additional services are available upon request.
The villa is located on a small quiet road 10 minutes from the centre of Sainte-Marie-en-Re, in the south of the island. There are many shops 2 minutes’ drive away or 5 minutes by bike. There is even a small daily market in Sainte-Marie-la Noue.
Sainte-Marie-en-Re is the oldest and most authentic village on the island. There were originally magayants here, farmers who started fishing from the shoreline by catching the fish trapped in locks at low tide, and after they had finished fishing, they returned to cultivate their plots of land.
The wild beaches are popular with surfers looking for the biggest ways.
Composed of picturesque villages and small marinas, the island of Ile-de-Ré has preserved its authenticity and primitive nature, while offering all the necessary infrastructure to welcome holidaymakers. Endowed with more than 100km of flat bike lanes, the island is perfect for long bike rides, where you will cross poppy fields, vineyards, salt marshes, and maritime pines.
Today, Ile de Re is linked to the mainline by the bridge, 30 minutes away from La Rochelle.
