This beautiful property next to the little village of Saint-Pantaleon in a peaceful country environment is ideal for discovering the many delights of the Luberon. Gordes is right nearby: dominated by its chateau, with its cobblestone alleyways and old houses, this hillside village ranks among the most beautiful in the Luberon, if not in all of France. Shops, cafes, bistros, not to mention the “must-have” market: you’ll find everything you need right at hand. You can take some fabulous tours through the Luberon Regional Nature Park; and don’t miss the amazing village of the Bories or the soul-stirring Abbaye de Senanque hidden among the fields of lavender, both nearby. A little further on, you’ll come across the numerous perched villages of the Luberon, the other key spots to visit: Roussillon and its ochres, Lacoste, Bonnieux, Oppede, Menerbes, Lourmarin... each village has its own unique charm, as well as its ardent supporters! A tour of the Provencal markets is essential to a stay in the region as it allows you to discover the flavors of the rich variety of local produce: AOC wines, truffles, olive oil, goat cheese, honey and other tasty treats.
