This palatial residence is the perfect home-away-from-home for patrons of the arts. Traverse the five spacious stories via the grand staircase or the elevator — either way you'll discover a haven of classical influences melded with modern style. Wooden herringbone floors drench the home with honey-coloured warmth, while classic moulding adds an elegant touch. Enter on the first floor, where you'll find a kitchen, dining area, and play room. A small patio off the kitchen is perfect for taking in the air or enjoying a glass of Chianti.

Climb the grand staircase, which rises like an arpeggio through the home, and you'll come across the second floor. The spacious sitting room and library are perfect for entertaining guests, and the grandiose piano room with its ornate ceiling is sure to inspire an evening of chamber music.

When the revelries wane, retreat to the inner sanctuary of the fourth floor, which houses the master bedroom, with a walk-in closet and private deck. The lords and ladies of your household can choose from among the three colourful third-floor bedrooms or the fifth-floor guest bedroom (which features a kitchenette).


Although primarily residential, the Upper West Side never lacks for things to do. Patrons of the arts rejoice: The Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, New York State Theater, Avery Fisher Hall, the Juilliard School of Music, and a number of other venerable institutions are scattered throughout the neighbourhood.

Home truths

The home spans over five floors. On the first level you'll find a playroom, dining room, kitchen, bathroom with a shower, and private garden patio. On the second floor there is a library, piano room, sitting room, kitchenette, and half bathroom. On the third floor you'll find the a bedroom with a king sized bed, a full bathroom, a bedroom with a twin bed, an ensuite bathroom, and a bedroom with two twin beds. On the fifth floor there is a guest bedroom, a bedroom with a king bed, guest kitchenette, and a full bathroom. The laundry in this home is located in the unfinished basement and also contains a full bathroom.

This townhouse is home to one dog, a few turtles, and small fish that live in a tank. This home may not be suitable for people with allergies. While the dog will not be in residence during guest stays, the fish and turtles will be. A caretaker will stop by twice a week to feed the fish.

There is no wardrobe in the third bedroom but there is hanging space in the hall closet located just outside the room.

Since the onefinestay photoshoot, this family home has acquired additional personal belongings, particularly in the third and fourth bedrooms.

Since the onefinestay photoshoot, a fifth bedroom has been added to the fifth floor. We'll be taking new photographs soon.

WiFi and mobile phone service do not work in the basement or on the ground floor of this home. It is also weak on the second floor but is strong on all the other levels of the home.


Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
