Persian rugs and hand-drawn designs are well-placed throughout the four floors of this impressive Brooklyn townhouse. The ground floor sitting area has carved furnishings, a round glass coffee table and a sleek black mantelpiece (only a charming piano is missing from the picture, and there’s one in the third sitting room, upstairs). An open arch leads on to the six-seater dining room table, beneath a black chandelier, and straight through is another lounging area, alongside the Scandinavian kitchen with a breakfast bar.
Up on the second floor is the master bedroom, with a four-poster bed and its own private balcony. Compared to the other five bedrooms, (which vary in colourful styles, with wall hangings and floral murals) it’s simple and understated. On the top floor, you’ll find an artist's studio with several working stations and a collection of paint sets – the hosts are an illustrator and a financier and together, they’ve brought Brooklyn’s colourful energy into their family home.
This home features four floors. The 1st floor has the living room, the dining room, the kitchen and the powder room. The second floor features the master suite and the sitting room. The third floor houses the boy's bedroom, the girls's bedroom I and II and a full bathroom. The fourth floor includes the guest bedroom, the studio with an ensuite bathroom and the den.
With their love of music, art, literature and food, your hosts have no requirement for a TV and so you will not find one in this home.
The den on the top floor features a queen size daybed that can be setup for two adult guests. This room does not have a wardrobe but guests will have a hanging rail for their storage needs.
The boy's bedroom, girl's bedroom I and the guest bedroom do not have wardrobes but guests will have a hanging rail in each room that can be used for their storage needs.
The back garden is shared with the ground floor tenants in this townhouse but guests will have access to the space during their stay.
A friendly cat is a resident of this home and although she will not be in the home during a guest stay, this home may not be suitable for guests with allergies.
This home does not have an elevator.
The minimum stay length for this home is four nights.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
