Sweet Thames roll softly

With its clean lines and neutral tones, this apartment will relieve the tired traveller, shoring you up for your next foray into the city. Up in the rigging
Your riverside-dwelling hosts are passionate about London. Though often travelling to distant horizons, they make sure never to drift too far from their Waterloo moorings.
Standing on the bridge
As soon as you arrive in the tranquil surrounds of St George’s Wharf, you’ll know you’re in safe waters. As you drift past the clipped hedges and private walkways towards your apartment you will feel the stresses of the city begin to melt away.
You can sip your morning tea while in bed, watching the boats pootling past on the river before whipping up a storm of a breakfast in the kitchen. Why not eat it on the balcony –the perfect place for an afternoon of reading and watching the world go by. With floor to ceiling windows, sunlight fills these rooms bringing a sense of placid calm to the city-stirred soul. When it’s time to batten the hatches choose your cabin and settle into the comfortable beds to be borne away on a tide of sleep.
As the crow flies, St George’s Wharf is within easy reach of many of London’s most alluring attractions. Whether you get lost in the teeming crowds of the South Bank or choose to stowaway in the cinema inside the BFI, there is plenty to do along this stretch of the river. The serene collections of the Tate are just across the bridge and if you are seduced by the siren song of Soho, Central London is a few stops away from nearby Vauxhall.
