Ka, the “Tropical”, is the largest of our facilities with its 6 double bedrooms in antic teak wood and their private bathrooms halfway in the open air : a feeling of freedom, pleasure, taking a bath or a shower right in the middle of a garden of Eden. Its majestic park of 3200 m2 where “Timor” statues and tree ferns mingle is a green setting of quiet. Once you’ve passed the doorstep, you’ll be charmed by a water lily pond, by a ceiling of drops of glistening blown glass, by a floor sculptured in ironwood, and furthermore by an incredible private swimming pool in natural stone, “Sukabumi”, which gives the water that very special colour between green and blue. You’ll certainly love to relax in our “salon oriental” where a pandemonium of multi-coloured cushions invites you facing the “garden of Gods”; otherwise our “Joglo” tea-time-bar awaits you for a game of chess or for your delight or to lounge in our library or TV corner. You’ll also make the most of our “Joglo” dining room already at breakfast which will be served coloured and perfumed with the seasonal tropical fruits of the “Pasar” (market). On demand, our Chef could treat you to a superb meal orchestrated in the middle of our “Joglo” equipped kitchen. The devotion of our discreet and ever smiling team helps assure the success of your luxurious stay in Bali. Ka … escape and immersion in an exotic world. The residential area of Umalas is just 35 minutes by car from Ngurah Rai International Airport and only 10 minutes from the shops and trendy restaurants of Seminyak. Our property is nestled between rice paddies and consists of two great villas each with its majestic private pool. Built in the traditional Javanese style of antic carved teak wood, these “Joglos” are endemic to the island of Java. They welcome you for a relaxing break during your journey on the mysterious island of Bali. The secretive housing complex in ethnic style is set in a lush tropical environment scenting of jasmine where flowers, statues and ceramics blend together to create a peaceful atmosphere. This atmosphere has been created by the French charm of Alexa Aguila Genoyer, traveler, photographer and artist; she has set up a combination of her paintings and ethnic decoration, local materials, contemporary and cozy comfort which is topped by the friendly availability and hospitality of our Balinese staff.
