Located in a lush hill overhanging the Indian Ocean and the small town of Senggigi, with a view at 180', Villa L is a haven of rest in the tropical island of Lombok. With its five bedrooms and its three swimming pools, Villa L can host 10 people. A team of friendly and discreet staff is on hand and will make your stay
an enchanting moment.
Villa L takes its name from the initial of Lombok, whose geometrical simplicity can
be found in every architectural lines of the buildings. Its style associates a sleek
design and rectilinear white walls, that reminds of the pure aesthetic of the Bauhaus, to the traditional charm of antique Indonesian furniture and objects d'art, where dark grey and indigo blue touches revive the sober elegance of
terrazzo floors and furniture.
Villa L is made of 2 terraced levels.
The highest one measures 2,000 square meters and offers 2 villas totalizing 700
square meters, independent but adjacent, linked by a white corridor.
The first villa is adorned with 2 fountains and comprises 3 bedrooms with ensuite
bathrooms, a TV room, a kitchen, an indoor dining room and living room, with an infinity pool of 10 x 4 meters, a sun deck, a roof terrace and an open air dining room.

with a private terrace - a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, an infinity
pool of 8 x 4 meters, a sun deck, a garden and a Javanese bed.
Six meters below lays a 2,000 square meter garden, offering a 20-meter free
shape swimming pool, a sun deck, a gazebo and many resting areas under the shadows of tropical trees.
The garden can be reached either by a sober concrete stairway or from a gentle grassy slope.
The Villa L is situated on The Hill overhanging the small village of Senggigi, one of the main touristic destination on the island of Lombok, reputed for its beautiful
west facing beaches, where the air is fresh and the ubiquitous ocean and tropical forest views splendid.

The main living room is open on two sides to the hill breeze, with a direct access to the infinity pool on the east side and to the outdoor dining room with a unique sunset ocean view on the west side, protected from the sun by a large white canopy.

Home theatre room
The air-conditioned home theater room is made of a huge terrazzo bed of 4 x 2 meters, with plump mattress and cushions, where you can watch DVD or TV programs at length, or even sleep in front of an Ingmar Bergman's movie.

The Senggigi area is the main tourist destination on the island, well known for its beautiful west facing beaches.
Nightlife and major restaurants are concentrated in the central town of Senggigi.
Senggigi is a popular launch point for other activities on Lombok. Without the hassle of Mataram, you can visit several other locations and come back to the Villa L every night. The Villa's Manager can arrange trips including a private car and driver.
Lombok, Bali's beautiful next-door neighbour, begins to receive the attention she deserves and entices the more adventurous travellers who have, perhaps, already explored Bali and are hungry to journey further afield in a protected nature.
Although there are only 35 km of sea between these two islands, the physical and cultural distinctions are considerable. Towering mountains, mighty waterfalls, pristine white-sand beaches, magnificent coral reefs, pearl encrusted shores and a unique and endearing Sasak culture are among Lombok's many charms, that the scarcity of tourists allows to enjoy in the most perfect tranquility.
A visit to Lombok is an opportunity to explore a natural paradise, trek the Rinjani National Park, enjoy some fantastic diving and snorkeling, surf some of the best waves in Indonesia, and encounter a traditional, rural way of life exposing a fascinating integration of Muslim and Hindu cultures.
The beaches in Lombok are beautiful. The roller-coaster road hugs the dramatic coastline around cool coconut groves, sweeping bays and towering headlands.
Although there are a few luxury hotels and villas in the area north of Senggigi, huge expanses of Lombok's shores are totally undeveloped with just a few small villages dotted inland and gorgeous beaches, festooned with candy-coloured jukungs (traditional canoe-shaped fishing vessels crafted from a single hollowed out tree trunk, with bamboo outriggers and a distinctive prow decorated and shaped like a marlin's head).
Some of the island's most spectacular coastal scenery can be found on the southern shores. Windswept sandy beaches and picturesque bays are separated by headlands and awesome rocky outcrops. The glorious crescent-shaped beaches of Lombok's Kuta (often confused with Bali's Kuta) and Tanjung Aan are famous for their surf breaks, and for their shallow pools of turquoise water when the tide is out.
