Vail & Beaver Creek, The Rockies
Nestled in a secluded mountainside location, Chalet Inverness is a stylish four-bedroom retreat for up to ten guests. Covering 3,500ft², it’s a sophisticated fusion of contemporary design and mountain cabin features that creates a unique chalet where no detail has been overlooked. The use of neutral oatmeal tones complements the bold wood beams. Wrap-around windows allow the natural beauty of the mountain to become your very own living works of art, ever-changing from every vantage point. Vail may sit in the heart of Colorado, but you’d be forgiven for thinking you'd walked into a Bavarian town. Developed in 1960, Vail has a distinctly Austrian feel and even has its own Oktoberfest celebrations. It’s full of Austrian-inspired architecture, creating a little slice of the Alps in the heart of Colorado. You can snack on fluffy pretzels washed down with pilsner larger or punchy apple schnapps. The food here is designed to keep you warm and full of energy for the incredible slopes of Vail mountain, so expect piles of buttery mashed potato, cheese fondue, or Swiss potato pancakes with smoked salmon. Chalet Inverness uses an open-plan layout to make the most of every inch of its extensive footprint. The lines are clean and uncluttered without being too clinical. The signature feature from every aspect is the view, which is genuinely breath-taking, especially at sunset. The living room is comfortably furnished with unique artwork to bring a pop of colour and personality into the room. The kitchen is fitted with the latest appliances and is the perfect place to rustle up some schnitzel and sauerkraut. The chalet's bedrooms are subtly decorated and serene. The master suite has a king-size bed and a private balcony that gives you plenty of opportunities to gaze at the stars. Bedroom two has a king-size bed, while bedroom three has a queen-size bed. Bedroom four is a family room with one queen-size bed and two twins. The great room leads onto the main deck, where you’ll find a hot tub, a gas BBQ, and plenty of seating for al fresco dining or simply relaxing under the stars. Chalet Inverness is all about stunning surroundings and giving you a little slice of Europe in the centre of Colorado.
