Steamboat, The Rockies
Blend some outstanding contemporary architecture and surround it with wild, natural beauty, and you have Chalet Breton. This elegant, three-bedroom chalet in the highly desirable Wildhorse Meadows neighbourhood welcomes up to seven guests. A single-level floor layout makes it accessible for all, creating a quiet haven perfect for getaways all year round. Steamboat Springs started life as a silver mining town, but while the precious metal may have gone, the shine certainly hasn’t dulled on this thriving location. Thanks to its hot springs, exceptional skiing and hiking trails, and dozens of food festivals, events and celebrations all year round, it remains one of Colorado's must-visit spots. It also prides itself on a real family-friendly atmosphere, so expect plenty of gourmet burgers and fries on the menu, children's activities and trails to explore together. While the moonshine on offer at the town's distillery may not be suitable for younger guests, it'll certainly be appreciated by the grown-ups in your party. Chalet Breton makes the most of all that's on offer in Steamboat Springs and then some. An open-plan living design allows each part of the chalet to flow seamlessly into the next. The living, dining and kitchen areas combine to create a cosy and comfortable space where you can chat while preparing a meal. Or chill out and relax on the deck around the firepit as the stars come out over the mountains. The bedrooms have personalised touches that create a serene oasis at the end of the day. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, ensuite and its own sitting area. Bedroom two has a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom has a full-over-queen bunk. If you really have to answer some emails while you're here, a private office is next to the master suite. This also has a sofa bed that can become an additional sleeping area. Wildhorse Meadows provides you with everything you want in a community. A large communal hot tub, heated outdoor pool and fitness room is available for all guests. You’re just a few steps from the Wildhorse gondola for access to the ski slopes or hiking trails. Chalet Breton is a year-round delight where you'll never tire of the ever-changing moods of the mountains and meadows surrounding you.
