This gorgeous six-bedroomed chalet is in the heart of Telluride, just a short stroll from Main Street. Welcoming up to 12 guests, San Miguel River offers supreme comfort and indulgent spaces with the convenience of a walk-to-ski position close to the Gondola. The chalet overlooks the babbling San Miguel River and River Trail and is surrounded by mature spruce and cottonwood trees, giving it a unique tranquillity despite its downtown position.

Telluride knows how to enjoy itself. All summer and well into the autumn, guests are entertained every weekend with festivals and extravaganzas. One of the most popular is the town’s food and drink festival, which takes visitors on a tour of the gourmet restaurants and come-one-come-all community BBQs where you get the chance to meet your neighbours over a drink and some classic American burgers. Local distilleries work all year round to produce craft bourbons with a uniquely crisp, fresh taste that you can only achieve using glacial mountain water in the distilling process. And don't forget - a drop of Telluride bourbon in a hot chocolate is the perfect après ski drink, too!

San Miguel River is pure sophistication from the moment you step through the door. The entryway guides guests upstairs to the Great Room, a chic space filled with plush leather furnishings, polished hardwood floors, and imposing windows that flood the room with light. A dining area provides a cosy space for up to eight guests for more formal meals. The kitchen is filled with sleek appliances and a casual breakfast bar. For some al fresco dining, the living area leads out onto a large heated patio complete with gas BBQ and bistro table.

San Miguel River is split over four levels, and the sumptuous bedrooms are spread across the various floors. On the main floor is a serene bedroom with a queen-size bed and ensuite. The magnificent master suite takes up the whole of the top floor and has a private patio with views of Ajax Peak, as well as a hot tub. The bedroom has a beautiful king-size bed and an elegant ensuite with jetted tub. A second primary suite with a king-size bed is located on the lower level, along with two more queen-size bedrooms and a delightful bunk room with a twin-over-full captain’s bunk, just right for the younger members of the group.

On the lower level are a media room with a projector screen and wet bar for watching the big game or the latest blockbuster. Two lower-level bedrooms are also part of a lock-off, complete with a full kitchen, breakfast nook and a second laundry room. San Miguel River provides flexible living for larger groups who want to enjoy the pleasures of Telluride and the wonders of the Rockies at any time of the year.
