There are several flights per day from Bali to Lombok's new airport at Praya. The whole area is secluded, quiet and almost deserted bar a few neighbouring villas and some tiny hamlets. Tugu Lombok, an atmospheric, antique chic hotel with a restaurant and bar open to outside guests is just a few minutes' walk along the beach. The nearest settlement of any note is the small but charming market village of Tanjung, 4km away.
