The villa blends its indoor and outdoor worlds courtesy of a series of shaded, wrap-around terraces that encourage al fresco lounging or eating. Further inside are additional dining and living rooms offering more lovely sea views, as well as elegant cane furnishings and vivid splashes of colour. Extending upstairs, the nine ensuite bedrooms include two master suites – one with an ocean-facing deck – plus a kids’ chamber and playroom. Each has a double or king-sized bed which will be made by the villa’s devoted housekeeper. A chef, meanwhile, is available to utilise your spacious kitchen and its myriad appliances should you not fancy cooking.

Punta Minitas 15’s staff also includes a butler who can advise on local sightseeing – such as the Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park – or talk you through the Casa de Campo’s many distractions. Those include three world-class golf courses, a tennis academy, horse-riding, watersports galore, yoga classes, yacht rentals and spa treatments.
