Stepping across an entrance hall and into Boulevard Voltaire’s dining room, it’s immediate that this is a home with intellectual pedigree. Books line every wall here, surrounding the antique table for five. An open doorway on the right takes you through to the adjoining sitting room – another interesting space with colourful sofas and armchairs, oriental rugs and many striking artworks. And next door to that (accessed via the hallway) is the kitchen, which is smartly decorated in white, grey and blue.
Then across the hall you’ll find the second bedroom, where there’s a windowside desk. Beside it is a passageway, which leads past a toilet room and a bathroom (with a bath and an integrated shower) and along to the ensuite master bedroom. This red-and-cream room has a double bed, an antique desk and yet more intriguing books and artworks.
The elevator in this apartment building only goes from the first floor. You'll have to climb a staircase to reach this floor.
There is no wardrobe in the master bedroom but there is hanging space in the hall closet just outside the room.
The two single beds in the second bedroom are prepared separately by default but they can be set up as a double. Please let us know when you book if you would like it prepared.
This home doesn't have air-conditioning, so let us know if you'd like fans for your stay.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
