A young couple, your hosts have made Wilberforce Road their own. The garden was designed to spec when they moved in, and remains your host’s pride and joy.
Waiting on a sleepy, tree-shaded street, Wilberforce Road is a serene sight. A skylight dazzles the sitting room, where wall-to-wall sliding doors blur the border between in and out. Sprawl on the cosy corner sofa, the better to eye up the eclectic touches, or swoosh open those doors and give yourself to the garden. With its wisteria arbour, sun-dappled lawn and wildlife-friendly flowers, you’ll struggle to tear yourself away. Especially with a barbecue and tempting dining area at your service.
The master bedroom is sweetly stylish and, before you slide into it, do look in on the open courtyard, complete with magnolia tree. You’ve an ensuite in watery blue, as well as a second bathroom in which to wallow with the help of our White Company goodies.
Dig for victory
If you yearn for the green acres and grassy breezes, you’ve come to the right place. Finsbury Park is round the corner, while Clissold Park echoes to the calls of deer, goats and chickens. As for amusements manmade, Islington has it all. There’s the designer fashion of Upper Street, the antiques of Camden Passage and sumptuous eateries such as Jamie’s Italian and the famous Frederick’s. And, best of all, the tube from Finsbury Park to Oxford Circus takes you a mere 15 minutes.
Your host are able to arrange parking permits for on street parking during your stay. They need a minimum of 10 day's notice and also, if possible, the registration plate of your car. Please let our reservations team know. The charge will be added to your bill.
This is a well-loved home and so shows some signs of wear and tear.
This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.
Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
