A modern masterpiece which uses its breathtaking natural surroundings to their full, Bakea Villa is a chic and elegant hideaway, tucked amongst the wild and untamed beauty of Anse Des Cayes. Designed by local architect Johannes Zingerle, the home uses the very curves of the hillside to create a space built from refined lines and gorgeous natural materials.

Situated just five minutes from the airport and the culture and fine dining of Gustavia, Bakea Villa is nevertheless wonderfully private. Surrounded by mature, swaying palms, the home blends seamlessly into its surroundings, providing breathtaking views over the ocean and island hills. The villa revolves around a glorious, spacious terrace and patio, with lush gardens at the back which shade the large windows and cast a sumptuous tropical, verdant glow across the living space.

The main areas flow beautifully into one another so that the large, gourmet kitchen leads into the formal dining area and welcoming living space and finally out to the deck. Two master bedrooms make this a perfect setting for two small families or a group of friends. Whilst one master has its own private garden and stone bathtub, the other boasts its own kitchenette and lounge. Two further ensuites have their own private terraces and gorgeous, minimalist design.

The real jewel in Bakea’s crown, however, is the magnificent dark-stone infinity pool which rests between the deck and terrace. Its dazzling turquoise waters are on a level with the gently swaying fronds of the palm trees, making you feel you have transcended the earthly world to a place of pure tranquillity and grace.
