Safely tucked away on the hillside of the gated Del Mar Community, the divine Villa Alta Mar offers captivating panoramic views of the glittering Sea of Cortez. Up to ten guests are welcomed to the villa, where your dedicated concierge can book all the high-end amenities of the neighbouring prestigious resort, ensuring a holiday of gourmet dining, world-class golfing, and blissful beach days when you vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Guests can benefit from the resort's famous Jack Nicklaus golf course, with majestic oceanside fairways for a unique golfing experience. While the golfers tee off, other guests can enjoy the resort's pristine beaches, sipping cocktails at the private beach club. San José del Cabo, a charming town just ten minutes away, offers a taste of the local culture, traditional architecture, tempting Mexican street food, and a delightful colonial centre with eclectic shops offering locally made goods. Head to San Jose Estuary, less than ten minutes from town, and you may spot hummingbirds, ibis, and even turtles in this enchanting wildlife reserve.

Relax on plush seating in the elegant living room, where sliding doors provide access to the attractive lounge and dining terraces. A true “heart of the home” kitchen; find chic granite counters alongside warm wooden cabinetry and a useful super-sized breakfast bar in this well-equipped space. The adjoining formal dining space boasts splendid views through the archways to the ocean beyond.

Five sumptuous ensuite bedrooms are available – four in the villa and one in a guest casita. Regal with rich fabrics, four-poster bed frames, and Mexican artwork, three of these rooms house a king-size bed, one offers two king-size beds, and the final provides two queen-size beds. Refresh in the opulent ensuites, where ornate tiles frame deep soaking tubs.

The villa's outdoor spaces are magical. Take a dip in the curved infinity pool, then sink into one of the deep sun loungers. Come the evening, you can fire up the BBQ for decadently laid-back evenings of entertaining. Take a glass of champagne to the fireside jacuzzi and end your evenings on the gorgeous, curved stone seating around the crackling firepit.
