St Barts may only be 25km², but in that small space, you'll find everything from glamorous gourmet restaurants and beach clubs to jungle trails and deserted white-sand beaches. The fusion of French influences with Afro-Caribbean culture creates a wonderfully eclectic atmosphere where the food is rich and spicy, the wines are exquisite, and the welcome is as warm as the sunshine. St Barts offers watersports, trekking and exploring, or you can snooze in a hammock, occasionally waking up for a rum punch cocktail or two.

Chant Le Océan benefits from a very secluded location, giving you all the privacy you want to unwind. The layout captures that typical island indoor-outdoor transition, where the living room's interior opens through glass doors to a sunny terrace. The kitchen is sleek and well-appointed, with the latest appliances that would make any chef smile, while the formal dining area is intimate and just the spot for a candlelit dinner.

The three king-size bedrooms are delightfully decorated in soft tones to create soothing, mindful spaces. The Trade Wind blows gently through the villa, keeping you cool at night so you wake up feeling refreshed and ready for another day. Of the two bedrooms in the main villa, one has a private sitting area, and both have attractive ensuites. The third ensuite bedroom is located in a separate bungalow with its own access and terraced area.

The pool is enchanting, surrounded by a wide sun terrace and mature gardens that provide tranquil oases where you can find a shady spot for the afternoon and get stuck into the latest bestseller. If you want to be more relaxed when it comes to meal times, al fresco dining and a BBQ area invite you to eat your meals accompanied by a stunning sunset backdrop.
