Located on a vineyard estate, Chateau Luberon is a 17th-century castle that benefits from a wonderfully appointed interior, expansive grounds and striking views over nearby Mt Ventoux. Just 15 minutes from Apt, in the heart of the Luberon Nature Park, the chateau is ideally suited to guests looking to escape to a rural paradise. That said, Carpentras, Avignon and Marseille are all within easy reach and make for attractive day trip destinations.

The chateau boasts 11 bedrooms split across the main building and two annexes. Five of the main building’s six bedrooms feature king-size beds, while the final room includes two single beds. In the first annexe, two bedrooms with king-size beds are supplemented by a dormitory-style room with four singles. In the second annexe, both rooms are fitted with king-size beds. Nine rooms are equipped with gorgeous ensuites, while two rooms in the main building share a bathroom.

The chateau's newly renovated kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, plenty of workspace and a long, wooden dining table that is perfect for slow, sociable lunches. The light, airy aesthetic incorporates traditional wooden beams and is prevalent throughout the chateau, including the reception room and library. In the basement, an enviable games room with a pool table, TV and bar adjoins a fantastic home cinema room with a sizable screen and sofa seating.

To help you take advantage of the beautiful Provençal sun, the chateau has a tennis court, petanque court, ping pong table and heated swimming pool. Shaded terrace areas and sun loungers mean you can make yourself comfortable throughout the day, while an outdoor dining area that seats 24 people is perfect for al fresco feasts. A fully equipped fitness room also provides for those who want to keep in shape over the holidays.
