Casa de Campo is one of those rare combinations of an exclusive resort and authentic island character. The first resort to be built on the island, it’s now regarded as one of the finest in the Caribbean. With no fewer than three championship golf courses, a purpose-built replica of a 16th-century artisan’s village, horseback riding, tennis and a host of other entertainment, it’s the pride of the island. Check out the local restaurants down by the Marina, where you’ll find exotic and fresh-that-morning fish such as succulent and sweet mahi-mahi or red snapper. Simply fried with a little seasoning, it's accompanied by crispy fried plantain and a cold beer for an authentic taste of the Caribbean.

From individual private terraces to communal living areas, Casa Al Mare captures that tropical spirit. The indoor/outdoor concepts allow the décor to flow, giving you a sense of space and tranquillity that embraces the location's natural beauty. The gourmet kitchen and dining areas allow you to choose from intimate gatherings to relaxed BBQs under the stars. The bedrooms are calm, private oases with ocean or garden views. The master suite has a king-size bed and its own private terrace, while the second master suite has a king-size bed and poolside views. A third bedroom has another king-size bed, while two upper-level bedrooms have two queen-size beds each. For younger guests, the final bedroom has two bunks and fabulous ocean views.

Outside, an expansive 60ft saltwater pool lets you indulge in a few laps before breakfast, while the ten-person hot tub is a perfect spot to sip a glass of wine or two with friends. Steps down to the ocean let you see the majesty of the sea up close and personal. Finish the evening gathered around the fire pit, watching the lights sparkle on the water.     • Please note a registration fee is required for guests staying in rented private villas in order to gain access to Casa de Campo and the use of the resort’s facilities. The resort registration fee is subject to change and paid directly to CDC. Each person, when registered, will receive a Casa de Campo ID card, which will detail the guest's dates of stay. The ID card will grant the individual named on the card access to the resort, as well as the use of various facilities. For complete fees and details please inquire with your agent.
