Casa del Sol is the perfect villa for golf aficionados. Just minutes from the 9th hole of the championship-standard La Romana Country Club Golf course, this eight-bedroom villa has it all. From ocean views and pristine gardens where the soft breeze rustles through the palm trees, to the nearby facilities of Casa de Campo, the villa is the ultimate choice for those who appreciate the finer things in life.

With the soft white sands of Minitas beach just two miles away and the attractions of Altos de Chavón to explore, this region of the Dominican Republic has so much to offer guests. Altos de Chavón is an unusual re-creation of a 16th-century Mediterranean-style village that seems oddly at home underneath the Caribbean sunshine. More athletic guests will enjoy the chance to go horseback riding, improve their tennis game with some professional coaching, or hit the shooting range. And of course, you can’t stay in this part of the island without at least one or two rounds of golf at La Romana Country Club or the challenging and wonderfully-named Teeth of the Dog course.

While it’s surrounded with attractions and things to see and do, Casa del Sol is a remarkably tranquil and secluded hideaway. The open-plan interior mimics the wide-open spaces of the manicured gardens, giving the whole villa a spacious, relaxed feel. The living areas embrace the indoor/outdoor ethos of Caribbean living, complemented by ocean and golf-course views. A total of eight bedrooms provide up to 16 guests with exceptional levels of comfort, thanks to that all-important air conditioning. Three bedrooms offer king-size beds, while the remaining six bedrooms all have two queen beds each. The ensuite bathrooms are delightfully laid out with rainfall showers, soak tubs and copious amounts of marble for an opulent effect.

With a gourmet-standard kitchen and outdoor facilities that include a large pool and heated jacuzzi, no detail has been overlooked. From the home theatre to the on-site staff including a housekeeper, chef and waiter, this is a villa where the emphasis is firmly on total relaxation and refinement at every turn.

    • Please note a registration fee is required for guests staying in rented private villas in order to gain access to Casa de Campo and the use of the resort’s facilities. The resort registration fee is subject to change and paid directly to CDC. Each person, when registered, will receive a Casa de Campo ID card, which will detail the guest's dates of stay. The ID card will grant the individual named on the card access to the resort, as well as the use of various facilities. For complete fees and details please inquire with your agent.
