Cannes may be known for its high-end shops and, of course, that world-famous film festival, but it's also home to some of the best beaches and the finest restaurants the French Riviera has to offer. The nearby Plage du Midi is a renowned sandy beach where people come to see and be seen, while those in the know leave the town beaches behind and go to the peaceful Îles de Lérins, where you'll find quiet coves to snorkel and enjoy a day on the sand. Take a picnic of delicious fare from Cannes' exquisite delicatessens, and book a ticket to Saint-Honorat or Sainte-Marguerite for the day.

Every aspect of Villa de Veyre is bespoke. From the deep-pile, deep purple rugs to the giant clock and bright red bobble furniture, every element of the interior looks as if it’s stepped out of a museum collection of modern 20th and 21st-century interior design.
