Situated in the exclusive and beautiful region of Cap d'Antibes, Villa Maddie offers scintillating views of the countryside, wonderful privacy and yet is a convenient short drive to everything you might need. The airport is only 30 minutes away and the culture, vibrant bars and restaurants of Antibes are just ten minutes away. The beaches of Plage de la Garoupe are a six-minute drive or a lovely scenic walk.
The villa itself includes a main space and a separate apartment, making it perfect for a large group or a few families sharing. The two living areas are equally delightful: gracefully decorated enclaves of peace and comfort in classic French style with warm wooden floors in one and beautiful ornate tiling in the other. The monochrome kitchen and ornate stairwell are classic pieces of Belle Epoque artistry and lend a touch of class to even the simple act of preparing your morning coffee.
Each bedroom is alight with its own individual charms and filled with warmth and sunshine, from generous windows and lovely wooden flooring. The master suite is especially spectacular with great bay windows and a gorgeous glasswork chandelier. Another bedroom is a fun-filled paradise for kids with bright colours and miniature furniture to make the place their own. A further king and two queen suites complete the main space and the apartment boasts two twin beds.
Outside await beautiful manicured gardens filled with sweeping spaces and cosy nooks to make the most of the sea air and sunshine. Upon the balustraded balcony, you can fire up the gourmet grill and share a meal amongst the treetops with stunning vistas laid before you. Then you can drift down the elegant staircase to the lawns and al fresco sitting room shaded by the home's terrace. A few steps lead you to the sparkling pool, encased in verdant foliage and shining lawns where you can lay back on a lounger or lean up against the bar to sip a cocktail. Indeed, you might well find yourself raising a glass to the mysterious 'Maddie', who gave this home her name, for creating this realm of decadence and splendour just for you.
