Saint-Tropez has a reputation for glitz and glamour. But there is so much more to discover in this once-sleepy fishing village. Go a little off the beaten track, and you'll uncover gems such as the Musée de l'Annonciade, a delightful 16th-century chapel that now houses a collection of modern art. Gastronomes will be in heaven thanks to the number of excellent restaurants to choose from, including Michelin-starred dining at some of the finest eateries on the Riviera - ask your dedicated concierge to arrange reservations.

As soon as you walk into Villa Sophie, you're greeted with a modernist interior that embraces art as a crucial element of the design process. The result is an elegant and sophisticated interior with a recurring bright blue theme running throughout the villa. The open-plan living area flows effortlessly to the outdoor spaces, connecting the two and enhancing both with incredible ocean views. The kitchen is a tour-de-force of form and functionality in a striking royal blue and white colour scheme, while the dining room is an intimate and cosy affair for those indulgent dinner parties. And when you want to burn off some of those calories, a wellness area includes a fully-fitted gym room, sauna and shower room.

Elegant and refined, the villa's seven bedrooms are decorated in neutral palettes with pops of primary colours to add character to each one. On the ground floor, the primary suite has a sumptuous California king-size bed and an appealing ensuite with a soak tub and stand-alone shower. On the upper level are the remaining six bedrooms, offering one further California king-size bed and four king-size guestrooms. The final guest bedroom is a dormitory with four single beds that would be ideal for younger visitors. Two staff bedrooms are also available on request.

Outside, a large infinity pool dominates the mature gardens. There are various outdoor spaces, including two al fresco dining areas. On the patio, a fountain adds a naturally musical soundtrack to more formal outdoor dining experiences.
