The historic Guest Cottage that originally made up the Sea Biscuit villa has been brought up to date for the 21st century without losing any of its inherent appeal. Surrounded by whispering palm trees and with a beachfront location that makes the most of those divine Caribbean sunsets, it's little wonder this part of the island has been a bolthole for the discerning traveller for so many years. Add into the mix a cluster of excellent restaurants, fun activities, and even the chance to help in the restoration of the Buttonwood Reef Coral Nursery during your stay, and you have the ultimate Jamaican destination.
Sea Biscuit itself is a quiet little hideaway where the oceanfront views are heavenly. The living space is elegant with a subtle blend of contemporary and retro, while the kitchen is gourmet standard and has everything you need to whip up a snack or a full meal. Sea Biscuit's three bedrooms are tranquillity personified, with pops of colour and patterns to give each one a unique character. The master bedroom, also known as the 'Honeymoon Suite', has a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom. Here, morning coffees can be enjoyed on the private terrace, gazing out at that magnificent blue ocean. Bedroom two has a king-size bed, while bedroom three has two twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed.
The larger Buttonwood Reef villa is just a short stroll from the sun terrace of Sea Biscuit, and as well as a host of opulent interior and exterior spaces to enjoy, also offers a further six bedrooms. Soothing tones are accented with bold splashes of colour to give each room its own personality. Five of the Buttonwood Reef bedrooms have indulgently snuggly king-size beds, while the sixth room provides two full-size beds for guests who want to stretch out in their own space. Beautifully tranquil with only the gentle wind rustling through the palm trees providing a soothing soundtrack, they guarantee a restful night’s sleep.
At Sea Biscuit, the gardens wrap around that vintage architecture, giving it a delightfully serene atmosphere. A plunge pool is the perfect place to cool off after a stroll along the beach. The outdoor living areas include a BBQ for al fresco dining.
