Guests can explore this wonderland on foot, discover their inner artist at the studio of Jamaican potter David Pinto, or get their adrenaline pumping with zip lining, tubing, rafting and river kayaking. The Coach House is the heart of the 18th-century estate, with much of its history on show thanks to the gorgeously preserved stone walls harmonised perfectly with a charming mix of contemporary and classical furnishings. The social areas offer plenty of choice for larger gatherings both inside and out, or smaller, more intimate nooks where you can find your own space.

The villa’s nine glorious bedrooms are incredibly characterful, with traditional terracotta tile floors and four-poster beds wrapped in premium linen. Seven of the bedrooms feature indulgent king-size beds, while the remaining two have cosy queen-size beds. Each room has its own personality, from access to the pool area via a handmade spiral metal staircase from bedroom six to the private living area, day bed and kitchenette of bedroom nine, ideal for a couple who prefer a little extra privacy. Each bedroom has an attractive ensuite attached, with rainfall showers and vanity units.

Outside, the villa’s crowning glory is the incredible mature gardens with a 50-foot infinity pool sparkling in the sunshine. A yoga room is just the spot to start the day right or have your driver take you to the private beach house and white-sand beach for a day’s swimming.
