Designed for families with older children, Villa Fleur blends thoughtful provisions with the luxuries typical of this seaside estate. One of its four bedrooms is twin-bedded (cribs may also be added), while the playroom’s Playstation, Xbox and slide also have kids in mind. The other three sleeping quarters are king-sized; every bedroom is ensuite with indoor rainfall showers and oversized bathtubs, while the master also boasts a Jacuzzi tub and an outdoor shower.

As for the communal areas, an open-air lounge and dining area leads to the impressively large saltwater infinity pool. Equally striking is its position, gazing straight onto Choeng Mon’s island-dotted bay. Flanked by water gardens, two separate decks guarantee space for every sun-worshipper. When you need a break indoors, that vast underground playroom also features its own private cinema, plus a pool table and cocktail bar.

Forget the little details: a dedicated, live-in staff will tend to your every need . That includes a chef – breakfast is complimentary, and other items can be ordered whenever desired from his daily menu – and experienced babysitters on request.

Within strolling distance is sandy Choeng Mon Beach, bordered by seafood shacks and boutiques. The longer, legendary Chaweng Beach is close by, as are jungly zip-line rides and elephant sanctuaries – outings to which Samujana’s concierge can arrange.
