Close to the town of Tremezzo and facing beautiful Bellagio, Villa Atia is a stately and historic presence directly on the shores of Lake Como. The main building was built in the 16th century, with the facade redesigned in neoclassical style in the 18th century. This is also when the two side wings were added by the Dukes of Serbelloni, as they used it as their summer residence.

Today, it serves as a stunning residence for a very special family holiday indeed, with full staff available throughout your stay. A particular highlight is the personal chef who prepares breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, along with drinks and wine. Villa Atia sleeps up to 12 people in six opulent suites found across the two wings. Each comprises a bedroom with sumptuous twin/double bed and ensuite bathroom. All are equipped with modern technology and are lovingly, lavishly decorated. Antique pieces, tactile soft furnishings and historic features add plenty of unique character.

The main villa building is all marbled decadence, with balconies, sweeping staircases, stuccoes and frescoed ceilings creating breathtaking aristocratic style throughout. A series of halls, living rooms and a grand dining space ooze period charm, setting the mood for large gatherings and quieter times alike.

At the back of the villa in the park are where the large swimming pool and outdoor dining pergola are found among scented trees. Al fresco drinks and dinners couldn't feel more romantic.

The Italian garden extends towards the lake with a stone mooring from which to set sail and explore Lake Como's pretty villages and historic villas. Many towns and lakeside spots are also easily reached by road from Villa Atia.
