Chilled-out charm
This Battersea end-terrace home has an easygoing air. You enter on the ground floor, where a hallway leads to Afghan Road’s airy open-plan living area. At one end is the book-lined sitting room, with its colourful rug and fireside seats (all spread with plump cushions). Opposite that, past an eye-catching collection of oriental art, there’s the dining area with French doors to the garden. To the right hand side you’ll find the spacious contemporary kitchen. From there a large window looks out onto the paved garden with space to dine.

Ascending the stairs, is the main bathroom, and then there’s the light second bedroom. Decorated in gentle colours and hung with delicate artworks, with a double bed and two armchairs. Above there’s another bathroom and the master bedroom with wall air-conditioning, which is simple, with several characterful antiques collected from your host's travels.

Home Truths

* Since the onefinestay photoshoot, the air-conditioning unit has been removed from the master bedroom. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.

* This home is spread over three floors with no internal elevator.

* While pets are welcome in this home, an extra cleaning fee will be added to your booking. Please speak to our sales advisors for information.

* The TV pictured in the Master Bedroom is no longer in use.
