The leafy neighbourhood of Lafayette Square is an oasis of calm, nestled amid the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles’ central region. Gated on three sides and with no through traffic, this charming area has been the home of many famous icons over the decades - from silent movie actors and heavyweight champions to renowned architects and entrepreneurs.



It’s in this peaceful corner of LA that you’ll discover the delightful Buckingham Road II. This traditional three-bedroom home was originally built in the 1920s and has remarkably retained much of its original features and charms.



Striking the perfect balance between old and new, original ceiling mouldings and wooden accents blend beautifully with carefully-selected furnishings. Placed around the rooms are a fabulous collection of art pieces from conceptual artists Jonathan Borofsky and Devin Troy Strother.



The sitting room is warm and inviting, its hardwood floors topped with soft tatami mats to sink your feet into. The second lounge area doubles as a music room, complete with a movie projector and a record player.



Make the most of LA’s brilliant sunshine in the spa-like garden. There's more than one way to soak your cares away, whether in the outdoor sauna, hot tub or cooling plunge tub. Close by is a large dining table and barbecue grill - lovely for getting the whole family together for a flame-grilled feast.



When you’re ready to get some rest, you’ll have the choice of three gorgeous bedrooms. The largest of them all is the queen-sized master bedroom, boasting its very own dressing room and an ensuite bathroom with a soothing steam shower. Both the second and third bedrooms have queen-sized beds, with the second also offering a private ensuite.



Ideally located, here at Lafayette Square you can enjoy the best of both worlds: the buzz of downtown and the peace of home. If you do feel like exploring Los Angeles’ most iconic destinations, it’s just a 15-minute drive to the palm-lined streets of Beverly Hills and 30 minutes to Santa Monica’s golden beaches.

* This home has a hot tub and cold plunge tub. It is open with no fence accessible via the kitchen doors. There is a cover to place over the top when not in use.

* There are no TVs in the home, instead there is a short throw projector which connects to your computer and a ground based projector screen that opens up.

* This home is spread over multiple floors with no internal elevator.

* There are two parking spaces available in the backyard via the driveway and ample street parking available.

* The second and third bedroom are connected by a shared bathroom.

* There are external security cameras that face each side of the home and backyard areas.

Upon arrival we will ask you to show your ID or passport.

DEPOSIT

Upon your arrival we will secure a $1500 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
