The perfect family home, its four bedrooms and four bathrooms - some ensuite - are spread over two levels, with the light-filled master bedroom on the top floor featuring a lovely terrace with peekaboo ocean views. On the ground floor are a trio of sitting rooms - the more formal one with a working fireplace - a homely kitchen with a breakfast table, and a dining area. Step out onto the picturesque outdoor terrace and gaze upon the lush garden, surrounded by green hedges for the utmost privacy. Here, spend sunny days beside the heated pool, followed by long lazy barbecue lunches under the shade of the pergola.

Perched on a peaceful tree-lined residential street in Pacific Palisades, the home is actually just off Sunset Boulevard, while Palisades Village with its boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops is a quick five-minute drive away. Not to forget Malibu, Santa Monica Beach and Beverley Hills, which are all within close reach, too.

* One small loveable hypoallergenic Maltese dog lives at this home. He won't be around during your stay, but this home may not be suitable for people with severe allergies.

* The swimming pool at this home is smaller in size than a standard length pool. It is open with no fence accessible via the living room sliding doors.

* This home is spread over two levels with no internal elevator.

* There is one parking space available in the driveway of this home and unrestricted street parking.

* There are a few steps down from the outdoor patio deck to the garden area.

* There are external security cameras at the front, side and back areas of the home.
