Nestled right beside the neighbourhood’s historic canals, this three-bedroom home is perfect for families or business travellers looking to experience the laidback, boho spirit of Venice.
While the ever-bustling beaches of Venice and Santa Monica might only be a short car ride away, it’s easy to find seclusion and solace within this delightful retreat. A myriad of windows and glass doors drench the interior in natural light, bathing each room with sunshine; and in Los Angeles, that’s an average of 292 days of the year.
Step inside to the entrance level and you’ll discover the breezy sitting room, a bright, open space with the kitchen and dining area set just behind. From here, double doors lead out onto a leafy garden, furnished with a barbecue and plenty of outdoor seating for al fresco lunches together on sizzling summer afternoons.
Up on the second level, the master bedroom is one of the brightest rooms of all with its high ceilings and an abundance of windows. Sink into the king-sized bed, unwind with a good book on the snuggly built-in window seat, or soak your cares away in the private ensuite’s freestanding tub. Best of all, you’ll even have your own balcony to sit and savour that fresh ocean air before starting your day.
Close by is the second bedroom, just as generously proportioned with a queen-sized bed, a private ensuite, a Peloton exercise bicycle, and its own balcony. A little smaller, the third bedroom has a queen-sized bed.
The third floor is home to a convenient office space, complete with a kitchenette and a sofa bed. Opening out from here is the rooftop terrace - yet another lovely outdoor space to make the most of LA’s long, sunny days.
When you feel like heading out and exploring the local area, there’s always the option to leave the car on the drive and opt for something a little less conventional - but certainly more fun. During your stay, you’ll enjoy direct waterfront access to the canal, as well as personal use of a rowboat to explore to your heart’s content.
