Villa Tourmaline has been artfully designed to look as though it is carved out of the surrounding area’s natural rock, emerging from the hillside as you arrive at the entrance. Inside, rugged is seamlessly blended with refined; mixing rustic stone, clean lines and simple, minimalist design. On the ground floor, there’s a contemporary kitchen which is fully-equipped for dine-in cooking and a chic, light-filled living area which feels serene and sophisticated, while remaining comfortable.
A polished concrete floor runs from the living space and into one of four bedrooms, which boasts its own entrance and a bathroom. Downstairs, there are three further bedrooms and four bathrooms on the lower level. Wooden and wicker details lift the classic, white-washed decor with soft, natural touches and large windows and doors are designed to allow the light to flood into the interiors and connect the spaces while making the most of the beautiful views.
The sleek infinity pool seemingly cascades off of the cliff edge and into the sparkling Aegean Sea in the distance. The sun-kissed terrace creates a private and relaxing spot to bask in the sunshine and Mediterranean heat. A craggy stone wall shelters the patio from the gentle ocean breeze and wraps around the pool-side deck and onto the covered terrace where a large corner sofa creates a cosy, outdoor lounge area. Soft lighting set into the steps illuminates the patio at night, creating a wonderful ambience. Follow the patio around into a shady covered corner and you’ll stumble across a romantic dining table; the perfect spot for intimate dinners or entertaining guests.
