Oakington Road is a fabulous four bedroom home in the charming district of Maida Vale. Renowned for its leafy walkways lining the Little Venice waterway and its elegant rows of traditional Victorian homes, it certainly feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle of Central London. Of course, if you do feel like heading into Westminster or Kensington for a day of sightseeing and shopping in the city, the nearest tube station - Warwick Avenue - is less than a 15-minute walk away.
This gorgeous home offers a wonderful setting for family holidays, comfortably accommodating up to five guests in total. The heart of the home is the cosy sitting room, set on the lower ground floor. Here, beautiful art pieces line the walls and a Baldwin piano sits in the corner. Plush sofas and chairs invite you to sink into them after a busy day, and to the right, a sunny courtyard garden gives the option of alfresco dining in the warmer months.
A spacious open-plan kitchen and diner offers plenty of room to prepare family meals together, before settling down to enjoy a feast around the dining table every evening. When you’re ready to call it a night, you’ll have the master bedroom - which has a super-king sized bed and ensuite bathroom. The three remaining rooms have a single bed each, making them ideal for children.
If the sun is shining, it’s certainly worth taking a stroll along the scenic banks of the canal. Along the way, you’ll find an excellent choice of cafes and restaurants featuring everything from Peruvian to classic European fare.

- This home doesn't have air-conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.
- Some noise from the nearby school can be heard inside the home, particularly during the school's lunch break.
- The fireplace in the home is ornamental.
- This home is spread over four floors with no internal elevator.
- There is a security camera located outside the home entrance.
- One loveable dog lives at this home. He won't be around during your stay, but this home may not be suitable for people with allergies.
- While pets are welcome in this home, an extra cleaning fee will be added to your booking. Please speak to our sales advisors for information.
- The barbecue in the home is not in use.
- This is a much loved family home and some signs of wear are visible, particularly on the carpets.
- The large overhead shower pictured in the family bathroom photos is not in use, however the bath and handheld shower are for guest use. There is a standing shower in the master bedroom ensuite.
