Le Refuge De Montclair is a sun-kissed rural retreat for up to 14 guests (ten adults and four children). Nestled among the gently rolling Provençal landscape and offering delightfully picturesque views across olive groves to the peaks of the Alpilles, this heavenly villa invites guests to immerse themselves in a decadently slow pace of life. With glorious hikes, organic wineries, and family-run bistros all within easy reach, you’ll experience the best Provence has to offer.
The villa lies close to Eygalières, a pretty village with a historic chapel and clock tower, and a bustling market every Friday morning for stocking up on the freshest Mediterranean fruits and vegetables, delicious honey and olive oils, and artisanal cheeses. There are many excellent cafés where you can sample authentic Provençal sweet treats with your coffee. For supper, the village restaurants tempt you with succulent confit meats, fish à la meunière, and hearty bouillabaisse, best washed down with a glass of local rosé.
Le Refuge De Montclair offers an enchanting French farmhouse ambience, with exposed timbers in the vaulted ceilings and limestone brick walls. The living room charms with cosy fireside seating and a vibrant pop of colour from the modern wall art. A true heart of the home, the villa’s kitchen is designed to be a social space where guests can cook together at the generous island before enjoying an oven-to-tabletop feast at the rustic kitchen table or out on the al fresco terrace.
Each of the villa’s six bedrooms feels snug and inviting, with sumptuous bed dressings and the most delightful ensuites. Three of the bedrooms offer a king-size bed, two boast a queen-size bed, and the final bedroom offers two single-over-single bunk beds. The ensuite bathrooms are an indulgent spot for self-care, with deep soak tubs, twin vanity sinks, and antique gold accents.
Guests can take their apéritif to a poolside lounger or snuggle up in the lovely lounge. With breathtaking views and a sense of blissful seclusion, Le Refuge De Montclair makes an unforgettable spot to reconnect with your loved ones.
